Hydroman® Submersible Sewage Mud Dredge Sand Slurry Pump is a multifunctional, heavy-duty submersible pump designed to handle a wide range of fluids including sewage, mud, sludge, sand, and abrasive slurry mixtures. Engineered for continuous operation in harsh environments, and hydroman® submersible gravel pump is widely used in dredging, mining, wastewater treatment, and construction dewatering applications where high solids content and corrosive media are present.

• Submersible Design
Fully waterproof (IP68 motor), designed for continuous underwater operation.
• Multifunctional Application
Handles sewage, mud, sand, silt, slurry, and sludge with high solid content.
• High Solids Handling Capability
Pumps slurries with up to 70% solids by weight and particle sizes up to 120 mm.
• Integrated Agitator (Optional)
Breaks up and stirs settled solids to enhance pumping efficiency and prevent clogging.
• Wear-Resistant Materials
High-chrome alloy (Cr27) construction ensures excellent durability in abrasive environments.
• Easy Installation Maintenance
Compact structure, simple deployment, and low maintenance requirements.
• Sewage and Wastewater – Domestic and industrial sewage with fibrous and solid content.
• Mud and Silt – Natural mud from rivers, lakes, construction sites, or tailing ponds.
• Sand and Gravel Slurry – Coarse or fine sand mixed with water, often in dredging and mining applications.
• Industrial Slurry – High-density slurry containing abrasive particles from processing plants or mineral operations.
• Sediment and Dredged Material – Settled sludge and sediment from harbors, docks, reservoirs, or ponds.
• Ash Slurry – Fly ash and bottom ash in power plants mixed with water.
• Oily or Greasy Liquids (with solids) – Some models can handle light oil-contaminated wastewater or slurry with hydrocarbons (depending on seal design).
• Pulp and Paper Mill Waste – Fibrous slurries and byproducts containing wood pulp or fibrous residues.
• Carefully check whether the electric pump is deformed or damaged in the processes of transport, storage and installation and whether the fastening pieces and loosened or fallen off before starting.
• Check whether the cable is damaged or broken, if yes, replace the cable to avoid electric leakage.
• Check whether the power source device is safe and reliable and that the rated voltage should accord with the nameplate.
• Use a megohmmeter to check that the motor stator winding cold ground insulationresistance should not be less than 50 ΜΩ.
• Check whether the oil quantity in the oil chamber is appropriate and that the oil level of the unit in the vertical position should be flush with the oil filling opening.
• Make sure that clear cold water is filled continuously when the submersible pump with the cooling shield is started, and make sure that the outlet is smooth and the cooling water flows in from one side of the lower end and flows out from the upper end of the other side.
• Sewage Wastewater Treatment: Pumping raw sewage, sludge, and grit in municipal plants or lift stations.
• Dredging Operations: Removing sediment, mud, and sand from rivers, lakes, harbors, and reservoirs.
• Mining Quarrying: Transferring abrasive tailings, sand slurries, or coal sludge.
• Industrial Sludge Handling: Managing oily mud, chemical byproducts, or ash slurry in refineries and factories.
• Construction Dewatering: Clearing mud and sand from excavations, tunnels, or foundations.
• Environmental Cleanup: Remediating contaminated mud or sediment in polluted waterways.
