Hydroman® Submersible Sewage Dirty Water Pump with Duck Foot is a heavy-duty submersible wastewater pump engineered for municipal, commercial, and industrial dirty water drainage systems. Designed for fixed installation via a guide rail system, hydroman® submersible sewage pump features a duck foot (auto-coupling base) that allows quick, tool-free disconnection and lifting, making it ideal for sewage lift stations, effluent pits, and underground sumps where access and maintenance efficiency are critical.
Hydroman® non-clogging submersible grinder pump handles fibrous solids, sludge, sanitary waste, and raw sewage, with vortex or channel impeller designs available depending on fluid characteristics. The IP68-rated motor, dual mechanical seals, and solid handling capacity up to 100 mm ensure long service life and uninterrupted operation in demanding wastewater environments.
• Hydraulics:
The pump features a non-clog vortex or semi-open channel impeller, optimized for low NPSH operation and capable of handling suspended solids and fibrous materials (up to 100 mm) without clogging.
• Pump Materials:
The casing, impeller, and wear plate are made from high-strength materials such as cast iron, duplex stainless steel, or 316 stainless steel, depending on the chemical resistance requirements of the application.
• Sealing System:
The shaft is sealed with a dual mechanical seal arrangement, placed in an oil chamber to prevent leakage and provide extended protection in high-abrasion or dirty liquid environments. Options include silicon carbide vs. tungsten carbide combinations for aggressive wastewater.
• Motor Protection:
The IP68-rated submersible motor is equipped with thermal overload protection, moisture ingress sensors, and Class H insulation, allowing for continuous-duty submerged operation even under harsh loading conditions.
• Cooling Options:
For dry-well or partially submerged installations, an optional cooling jacket or internal motor cooling system is available to prevent overheating.
